Wave of Wemby

As we are in the home stretch of NBA season we are seeing the full arsenal of Victor Wembanyama. He is a for sure front runner for the NBA Rookie of the Year. With his only real competition being Chet Holmgren and even that being not too close his stock is only going to increase.

Its been a while since we have seen a prospect so highly sought after and actually come through and exceed those talents. I think we saw this with in the most recent past with Luka Doncic and thats really about it. I don't think the hype is still there for Zion the way it was coming out of college. Already Wembanyama is in the upper echelon of players in the NBA. Some of the plays we have seen from him we just don't expect from someone of his size. Crossing up Giannis and slamming it home on him in the paint and going through the legs 360 fade away... its insane what this man can do. I think the real question is what can this man not do?

We may be witnessing the start of the most dominate player to play the game since Shaquille O'neil. He can take you in the paint, post up, fade away, hit you in the midrange game, and last but not least shoot over the top of you from the three point line.
